I began working with Northwestern Mutual as in intern in 2009 where I led the ranks as one of our Top 50 Interns of the Winter Camp Contest. I graduated with Cum Laude honors from the University of Akron in International Business and continued on to earn my MBA in finance. In school, I was a part of Akron’s baseball team and was a two time MLB draft pick of the Minnesota Twins. In 2010 I began working full-time with Northwestern Mutual in Braintree, MA.
I hold the Massachusetts Life, Accident & Health License as well as FINRA series 6, 63, 65, and 7.
I also hold the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU® ) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) professional designations.
I was born and raised in Berea, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland, and started my career with Northwestern Mutual in 2009 as an intern during the last semester of my graduate studies at the University of Akron. In 2014, I relocated to the Boston area in order to be closer to my wife's family.
I currently live in Plymouth, MA with my wife Liz and our four kids, Abigail, Thomas, Claire, and Teddy. In June 2020 we welcomed our dog Rangeley to the family. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, attending church, working out, traveling, fishing, kayaking, hiking, and coaching baseball.
Baseball has been a passion of mine from a young age, leading me to become a pitcher for the University of Akron, and a two time draft pick for the Minnesota Twins. Since then I have held coaching positions for the AAU team Hitmen Baseball, Massachusetts Maritime Academy, and Stonehill College.
